After graduating with the top of her class in 2005 with a Bachelor Degree in Radio-Television Production, and a minor in Cinema Studies from the University of Central Florida, Katie did what all aspiring video editors do, got a job as a bartender. After mastering the complexity of the human psyche, via the hospitality industry, Katie looked to edgefactory as the perfect place to make her mark! Setting her sights beyond just working in the world of video, Katie finds time to volunteer with numerous charitable organizations, including the annual Sun 'n Fun Fly-In, and recently organized fundraisers for Haiti Relief.
With a progressive series of opportunities from working with the Central Florida television news market to corporate industrials, Katie has developed and honed the skills necessary to create great visuals, and lay out well-paced stories as a video editor. Always ready to jump in and lend a creative eye to new projects, Katie adds a new and fresh spin to the edgefactory team.
