JOB DESCRIPTION

edgefactory is looking for an experienced, passionate, and out-going Communications Coordinator with part-time availability. Must be able to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced team environment with minimal oversight, be able to prepare executive-level presentations, handle meeting coordination for all levels of management and executives, as well as arrange travel and complete expense reports. Must be able to maintain confidentiality.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

Provide day-to-day administrative support to Directors and Managers at our facility located in Orlando, Florida. Focus on office administration and handling the analytics, communications and workflow on various productions. Assists in the organization and communication of all ongoing activity within edgefactory. Provide additional office support such as distributing mail, filing, faxing, photocopying, scanning and tracking documents, data entry, and word processing. Assist with special projects as needed. Perform administrative duties including, but not limited to, screening and routing phone calls, managing calendars, processing invoices and expense reports, and scheduling meetings requiring significant coordination and follow-up. Monitor and track Social Media outlets for breaking news affecting edgefactory and its related interests throughout the workday via electronic news sources, disseminating news to a key list of executives. Active participant in the ongoing management of company Social Media; Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn, YouTube, through composing and posting articles, and reporting analytics. This role reports to the General Manager. Assist with monthly employee celebrations such as birthdays and anniversaries. Oversee Client feedback program

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

• Experience in interacting with all levels of management, including executive management
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Prezi as well as ability to learn new technologies
• Proficient in Internet Explorer and internet-based research
• Demonstrated ability to record and distribute meeting notes
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to assure successful interaction with senior executives, internal partners, and external contacts
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
• Ability to exercise good judgment and use discretion
• A self-starter – ability to take initiative and proactively problem solve

Preferred

• General knowledge and/or experience in the entertainment industry
• Ability to work evenings and weekends
• Selection of news stories, thematic presentation, production, and dissemination requires intense focus as well as focused-energy
• Prefer experience with Video Teleconferencing (VTC) equipment
• Editing experience Sony Vegas, AE Premiere

EDUCATION

High school degree or equivalent.

Time Commitment

20 hours per week. This is part-time employee position; compensation based on experience
