Orlando, FL (October 29, 2015) — MarCom Awards today announced winners for the 2015 international awards competition that recognizes outstanding creative achievement by marketing and communication professionals. Honored this year, edgefactory, a leading media and EMMY® award winning production house based in Orlando, Florida, received recognition for its outstanding creative achievement in video marketing and communication.

With over 6,500 entries from throughout the United States and several other countries, edgefactory received top honors with a Platinum Award for “Once Upon A Time” a theatrical meeting opener video highlight the history and 50th anniversary of Sonitrol.

The MarCom Awards is an international creative competition that recognizes outstanding achievements by marketing and communication professionals. Entries come from corporate marketing and communications departments, advertising agencies, PR firms, design shops, and production companies. Winners include media conglomerates to Fortune 500 companies.  The competition is so well respected in the industry that national public relations organizations, communication firms, and some of the largest ad agencies and production companies in the world are entrants.

The MarCom Awards are administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals. Judges are industry professionals who look for companies and individuals whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry. The international organization consists of several thousand creative professionals.
