edgefactory recently received three awards from MarCom for their 2016 award year! MarCom is an international awards competition that recognizes outstanding creative achievement by marketing and communication professionals. This year, edgefactory received two Platinum awards and one Gold award for our creative approach to three specific projects involving video marketing and communication.

Wowing The Crowd With Video Marketing

All three of our awards were for video marketing projects for Thermo Fisher Scientific and beat out more than 6,500 other entries from U.S. and international marketers for the wins.

We received Platinum awards for “Devoted to Science and Finding Answers” and “Science Finding Answers”. Both are theatrical corporate image videos that showcase the legacy and global brand of Thermo Fisher Scientific.  

The Gold award was for “Glycan Assure Animation”. This was an original marketing video, featuring 3D animation, promoting the Glycan Analysis Column for qualitative, quantitative, and structural characterization of uncharged and charged glycans present in biological molecules, for Thermo Fisher Scientific.

About The MarCom Awards

The MarCom Awards are a big deal. We couldn’t be happier (for ourselves and for Thermo Fisher Scientific!) to have been recognized by this creative group. Marketing and communication groups of all sizes and from all over the world enter this competition. The competition is so well respected in the industry that national public relations organizations, communication firms, and some of the largest ad agencies and production companies in the world are entrants! Entries are administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals. Judges are industry professionals who look for companies and individuals whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry. 

We were very, very proud to bring these awards home to Florida!
