EDGEFACTORY OMNIMEDIA INNITIATES BACK TO SCHOOL BACK PACK DRIVE

Orlando, Florida, (August 11, 2011) – A leading media and EMMY® nominated production house in the Orange County area has initiated a "Back to School Backpack Drive".

Today, edgefactory Omnimedia announced it has joined forces with St. Luke's United Methodist Church and the Orange County Public Schools to collect backpacks and school supplies for students across Orange County.

Working families in Central Florida have a tough time with back to school due to the lack of funds in the public schools system. Families and teachers struggle with providing the basic supplies to their students. That is why is why edgefactory Omnimedia felt it necessary to get involved and set up a "Back to School Backpack Drive" in efforts to provide each student in need with basic materials necessary for achieving success in their educational career.

The team at edgefactory Omnimedia urges members of its community to participate in the event. Orange County Public Schools commence class on August 22, 2011. According to the Orange County Public Schools 2011-2012 Calendar, the back to school pre planning begins on August 15, 2011, which presses the drive to end on August 14, 2011.

"Having the right school supplies is the first step in doing well in school." Executive Producer, Brian Cole expresses; " We want to ensure that the students in our community are equipped with the necessities to do well in their studies."

Backpacks and other back to school essentials will be collected at the edgefactory office and at St. Luke's Methodist Church in Orlando, FL from now until August 14, 2011.
