edgefactory announced today the promotion of Dan Ballester from Associate Editor to the newly added position of Editing Supervisor and Adriel Jimenez from Editor to Senior Editor. These promotions are a result of the expansion required in the edgefactory editing team to keep up with growth in business demands. In these new roles, Ballester and Jimenez will lead the editing team in daily operations and execution of production goals.
Ballester joined Edgefactory in November 2014 as a contractor. Since then he’s become an invaluable addition to the team through talent and continual skill development. As Editing Supervisor, Ballester will be responsible for order, consistency and efficient operation of the editing department.
Jimenez began his Edgefactory journey as an intern. Quickly climbing the ranks, he became a contractor in July 2014 and earned the Employee of the Year award that same year. In his new role as Senior Editor, Jimenez will continue to use his creative storytelling skills while being the first stop for all editing projects.
“It has been exciting to watch them grow and evolve into these new roles. Their creativity and out-of-the-box thinking have been a tremendous addition to the team,” says Brian Cole, President / CEO of Edgefactory. “We’re thrilled to be able to empower Dan to be the voice of our editing team with Adriel at his side. This is an exciting time in the growth of Edgefactory. We continue to innovate and incorporate new media technologies, all while elevating our already extensive offerings in brand communications.”
