Orlando, FL (January 31, 2018) — Edgefactory, in partnership with Heart of Florida United Way (HFUW) completed production in this month on upcoming Public Service Announcement videos for the Orlando United Assistance Center (OUAC).  These service announcements will promote the ongoing medical, mental, and personal services available to survivors still struggling from the Pulse nightclub tragedy.

Heart of Florida United Way

Recognizing the common stigma among men about expressing feeling, HFUW worked with the team at CT-Social to carefully craft their message. A focus group was created with several members of the Hispanic community to offer their own perspectives on how Hispanic men respond to tragedies and offers of assistance.

“Studies show that it can take three to five years for a community to recover from a tragedy like this.” says HFUW Chief Marketing Officer Ashley Blasewitz. “It’s important for people to know that the Assistance Center is still administering services to survivors still in need.”

The Public Service Announcement is made possible through a grant from The Citrix Orlando Victims Assistance Fund which was formed in the aftermath of Pulse by the Florida based software programming and security company, Citrix.
