2014 Site bug_GoldORLANDO, FL, (May 27, 2014) – Hermes Creative Awards today announced edgefactory, a leading media and EMMY® award-winning production house based in Orlando, Florida, as one of the winners for the 2014 Hermes International Creative Awards competition for creative professionals involved in the concept, writing and design of traditional and emerging media.

Edgefactory and Creative Show Director, Steve Peterson, have been recognized for outstanding creative writing in the production of a series of short form educational videos for the recently opened Dorothy Lumley Melrose Center for Technology, Innovation and Creativity.   Located in the Orange County Central Library in Orlando, Florida, this interactive exhibit takes viewers on a visual journey through the history of technology, innovation and creativity, as seen through the eyes of its benefactor, Dorothy Lumley Melrose.

There were over 5,500 entries from throughout the United States and several other countries in the Hermes Creative Awards 2014 competition. Entries came from corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, PR firms, design shops, production companies and freelancers.
