InfoComm-2013_wEvery 2 years, InfoComm International invites thousands of audiovisual industry professionals to the Orange County Convention Center on International Drive in Orlando. This year is no exception. 35,000 attendees will flock to the “City Beautiful” to see and experience the latest in commercial audiovisual technology, with classes running June 8-14, and the expo floor will be open June 12-14.

What will participants be seeing this year? Well, in addition to edgefactory’s award-winning content at Booth #5580, here are some of the show’s most anticipated highlights:

Tuesday’s Keynote speaker, Jeremy Gutsche, is ”an innovation expert and award-winning author of Exploiting Chaos”. Hundreds of courses from telecommunications and telepresence to AV Design, live event and staging, IT integration, web streaming, compliance – and everything in between are presented at InfoComm University. Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) training and testing is available throughout the show, for those professionals seeking the credentials standard to the AV industry.

Digital Signage, Audio, Lighting, Live Events, Unified Collaborative Conferencing, Security, Touch Screens, Education Technology – have individual areas or pavilions specifically created to showcase the latest products and services each of those disciplines has to offer. There are even free hearing test screenings provided by a non-profit House Research Institute.

There are many opportunities to network and learn from industry peers and experts all week long, including events for First Timers (Tuesday at 2pm) and Future InfoComm members (Thursday at 3pm), to international visitors (Wednesday at 5:30pm).

With many manufacturers and service providers debuting new offerings across the show floor, there will be no shortage of innovative and unexpected findings in every corner. All in all, InfoComm13 will prove to be a great success for InfoComm International, Orlando, edgefactory and the AV industry.
