Representing edgefactory on this year’s panel of judges Kathryn Porter, Producer/Senior Editor, will lend her extensive talents and experience in the evaluation this year’s entrees.

The Seminole County School Television Awards exist to build a community between students and educators from TV Production programs in Seminole County Public Schools, and to celebrate student achievement in the areas of broadcasting, video, and film production.
Students have the opportunity to enter a variety of categories in which to showcase their collective creative skills in the arena of broadcast media; Best Broadcast; Best Reporting Feature; Best Sports Production; Best School/Academic Promotional Video; Best Graphics & Animation; Best Commercial; Best Public Service Announcement; Best Public Service Video; Best Music Video; Best Documentary; Best Comedy; Best Short Film.

On Monday May 4, 2015, the Oviedo High School auditorium host Seminole County’s version of the Academy Awards for its TV students.
